Smile Design

If you want an aesthetically pleasing, whiter, brighter, natural-looking smile, Smile Design at Sunset Smile Creations can help — no two cases are similar, so Dr. Lubin builds a complete plan around your specific goals and oral health.

Your Smile Design treatment starts with a conversation, not a mold. Dr. Lubin walks through your goals, checks for any oral health issues that need addressing first, and then designs a plan that may combine veneers, whitening, contouring, or restorative work. Most patients complete their plan in 2–4 visits.

Smile Design Travel Program

If you live outside our South Florida service area — including Orlando and Tampa, where many of our Smile Design patients travel from — we book and pay for your flight and hotel ourselves, as part of your treatment. It's not reimbursed after the fact and it's not an add-on fee: we handle every arrangement so a Smile Design trip costs you nothing beyond the treatment itself.

Comprehensive Exam

Comprehensive dental treatment at Sunset Smile Creations starts with thoroughly checking the conditions of your teeth. We will comprehensively examine your oral conditions, including x-rays, bite registrations, and jaw joint analysis, to get a better picture of your oral health.

Oral Cancer Screening

Each year, more than 30,000 new cases of oral cavity and pharynx cancer are diagnosed. Early detection increases the survival rate. Screening is done during a routine check-up, looking for lesions including leukoplakia and erythroplakia. Our office offers biopsy procedures to better serve you.

Prophylaxis (Teeth Cleaning)

Prophylaxis, or teeth cleaning, is a simple, painless procedure that prevents periodontal problems and decay. After a thorough assessment, we remove plaque and tartar from your teeth and gum lines, followed by polishing, flossing, and a fluoride treatment if needed.

Night Guards

Occasional teeth grinding (bruxism) is common, but unconscious nighttime grinding is hard to control and can wear down teeth. Dr. Lubin offers custom Night Guards — hard guards for TMJ disorders, soft guards for light-to-medium grinders — to protect your teeth from irreversible damage.

TMJ/TMD Treatment

Your temporomandibular joint (TMJ) connects your jaw to your skull. TMD causes pain in the jaw and facial muscles — from teeth grinding, arthritis, or stress. Symptoms include jaw pain, clicking, and difficulty opening your mouth. We treat TMD to relieve chronic pain and protect your teeth.

Same-Day CEREC Restorations

We use CEREC to restore chipped, decayed, or discolored teeth with beautiful porcelain crowns, veneers, and onlays — walking out with a new, healthy smile the SAME DAY. This latest advance in dental technology means high-quality restorations in just one appointment.

Designer Fillings

Dental fillings keep your teeth healthy long-term. If you have decay, discoloration, gaps, or chipped teeth, designer fillings restore your aesthetics and function using the best-quality materials, customized to your teeth’ shape, size, and color.

Porcelain Crowns

Porcelain crowns restore damaged teeth by improving shape, size, strength, and function — used when a tooth is too damaged for a filling. Crowns are custom-matched to your natural tooth color for a seamless look.

Gingival Contouring

Gingival contouring removes excess gum tissue to expose more of the tooth crown — helpful for gummy smiles or when there isn’t enough tooth surface for a crown. We sculpt your gum line to create the right proportions.

Bridges

Bridges are custom replacement teeth that fill the gap left by one or more missing teeth, restoring your bite and facial aesthetics. We offer fixed bridges (secured by crowns on natural teeth) and implant-supported bridges.

Smile Makeover

A full makeover for your smile’s quality, aesthetics, and function — combining alignment (braces, Invisalign), restoration (dentures, bridges, implants), whitening, and gummy smile correction to get you straighter, whiter, brighter teeth.

Periodontics

Periodontics is the branch of dentistry that treats gum disease. Plaque buildup and bacterial infections can affect your gums and even cause jawbone erosion — our periodontist helps you get rid of periodontal issues before they progress.

Overdentures

For patients missing most or all of their teeth, overdentures are removable appliances attached to dental implants that look and feel like natural teeth — protecting your jawbone, improving chewing and speech, and staying comfortable and low-maintenance.

Hybrid Prosthesis

A durable, fixed solution for multiple missing teeth — secured with as few as four implants, so it feels like your natural teeth while talking or chewing. No extra maintenance beyond normal brushing and flossing, and no fitting sessions required.

Sinus Lift

For patients who lack enough bone in the upper jaw for implants, a sinus lift adds bone between the molars and premolars by lifting the sinus membrane — enabling implant placement while reducing the risk of sinus damage.

Full Mouth Reconstruction

Repairs and rebuilds your mouth’s appearance and function using a combination of procedures — bone grafting, orthodontics, veneers, crowns, gum contouring, and deep cleaning — to address bruxism pain and give rehabilitated teeth a healthy foundation.

Gum Grafting / Recession

Gum recession happens when gums pull away from tooth roots, creating pockets that trap plaque and bacteria. Mild cases are treated with deep cleaning; severe cases need gum grafting, using tissue from the roof of the mouth to cover the receded area.

Treatment of Gummy Smile

A gummy smile is when 2mm or more of gum tissue shows while smiling. We treat it with laser treatment (for gum tissue issues) or gum contouring (surgical gum sculpting) to reveal more of your natural tooth.

Frenectomy

A simple surgical procedure that removes the frenum — commonly needed for speech issues from an elongated lingual frenum, or to close gaps between front teeth from an extended maxillary labial frenum. Improves speech, eating, and confidence.

Crown Lengthening

Removes soft tissue to expose more of the tooth — used cosmetically for gummy smiles, or to expose decayed or broken tooth structure and prepare teeth for restorations like bridges and crowns.

Periodontal Surgery

For advanced gum disease that can’t be treated non-surgically. We perform osseous surgery, gingivectomy, and frenectomy surgery to remove bacteria and plaque, eliminate bad breath, and stop periodontal disease from progressing.

Biopsy

A simple procedure where oral tissue is examined microscopically to check for oral cancer — used when there are unexplained inflammatory changes, a persistent lesion, or any sign of malignancy. Early detection significantly improves outcomes.

Deep Cleaning (SRP)

Scaling and root planing performed under local anesthesia, over two appointments, removes bacteria and tartar from below the gumline. Recommended for gingivitis or diseased gums — reduces pocket depth and halts periodontal disease.

Periomaintenance

Ongoing periodontal care — roughly half of Americans 30+ have periodontitis, the leading cause of tooth loss, linked to cardiovascular disease and diabetes. Treatment ranges from nonsurgical therapy to gum surgery, plus implant monitoring.

Microbiological / DNA Testing

Identifies which bacteria is causing a periodontal infection so it can be treated properly, and helps monitor implant sites — using quality diagnostics methods to detect periodontal infection-related information.

ClearFy

A new-age clear-aligner-style solution using high-quality scanning technology to design effective, comfortable, discreet treatment plans for a faster smile correction — tracking your tooth movement throughout treatment.

Vampire Facial Treatment

A PRP (platelet-rich plasma) skin treatment — your own blood is drawn, spun, and re-injected via microneedle to trigger skin healing and rejuvenation, increasing collagen production and reducing fine lines. Offered as an aesthetic add-on alongside dental services.
